To activate your membership in the Preferred Honors or Premier tier, you need to have an open and active personal checking account with Bank of America and maintain a 3-month combined average daily balance of $100,000 for Preferred Honors tier or $1 million for Premier tier in your qualifying Bank of America deposit accounts and/or Merrill investment accounts. Bank of America Private Bank clients qualify to enroll in the Premier tier regardless of balances. There’s no fee to join.

Your BofA Rewards tier is determined by your qualifying balances. You can move to a higher BofARewards tier to enjoy even more benefits and rewards by increasing your qualifying balances. Each month, we’ll review your program balance to see if you’ve reached a higher tier. Once qualified, we will automatically upgrade your BofA Rewards tier.

Once enrolled in BofA Rewards, you will automatically see a lifestyle benefits link in the Rewards tab in Bank of America Online Banking or MyMerrill. You can also easily access lifestyle benefits via BofA Rewards by selecting the Featured Benefits tile for lifestyle benefits at the top of the screen.
