Update your brokerage account address
Use Benefits OnLine® to update your address listed on the brokerage account used for your equity awards or employee stock purchase plan (if available in your plan).

Step 1
Go to Benefits OnLine at the web address provided by Merrill or your employer. Please note, your screen may differ from the example shown.
Step 2
From the Home page, select Accounts > Personal Information Update. If prompted, select your company name from the dropdown. If Personal Information Update isn’t an option, you can contact Merrill at your plan’s phone number to update your address.
Step 3
The Benefit plan information shown on this page is provided to Merrill by your employer. If you’re an active plan participant, your personal information can’t be updated here. You can contact your employer or follow your company’s standard process for updating personal information. Scroll down the page to the Brokerage account information section.
Step 4
Select Edit. You’ll be prompted to enter an authorization code delivered to you by phone, text or email.
Step 5
For U.S. addresses: Enter your street address, city, state and zip code. Your street address can’t be a P.O. box or company address. Check the box to apply your changes to both your mailing address and your permanent residential address for your brokerage account. Select Continue.
Step 6
For non-U.S. addresses: To update your country of residence, select from the dropdown list. Enter your street address in the Address 1 box. It can’t be a P.O. box or company address. If you have an apartment or flat number, or additional address details, enter them in the Address 2 box. Enter your Province (if applicable) in the Address 3 box. Use the Address 4 box for other address information. Enter your city and postal code in the boxes provided. Check the box to apply your changes to both your mailing address and your permanent residential address for your brokerage account. Select Continue.
Step 7
Review the information and select Submit. Note: You may need to recertify your tax status after updating your brokerage account address. If so, you’ll see a To Do item on the Home page within 48 hours.
